About Bay Funding
Funding information displayed in ChesapeakeStat was reported voluntarily by Chesapeake Bay Program partners during an annual data call conducted in 2008 and 2009. Partners entered their data into the Chesapeake Registry, an online catalog of reported projects and associated funding being planned or put in place by Bay Program partners to protect and restore the Bay. This funding data call was not conducted in 2010 or 2011. The Chesapeake Bay Program is considering other options for gathering this type of funding information in the future.
Funding is presented for each of the five goal areas. Information can be sorted by year, location, source of funding, goal, and topics within goals. Please note that the state list includes "multi-state" as an option. This represents activities that span multiple states. The Chesapeake Bay Program is committed to improving the completeness of the data over time. If you have questions, corrections, or comments, please contact the Chesapeake Registry Team.
